This is a re-render of the other bob-omb picture I did. I was playing around and wanted to do a bit of editing to it. Plus, I was playing around with render settings and noticed an "HD" preset, so needless to say I wanted to try that. :lmao: I love how crisp the result is on HD settings. =D

Anyway, here's a second version which you can use for a wallpaper if you want, as well. Please press Download to view and save the full size.

Tools: Maya 2008 for modeling, mental ray for rendering, Photoshop for color editing.

When I learned 3D for the first time a couple of years ago, one of the things I said to myself was "I gotta do a Bob-Omb scene" since I saw one from `smashmethod :XD: funny though, I always put it off for other concepts =p
