Artist's Comments

Edit: High resolution version --> [link]

You may remember a previous 3D render of mine of a simple light bulb.

Well I was asked to do another render but with a brighter environment, so this is basically the revised edition, with two light bulbs instead of one. :)

Disclaimer: no, this is not a photo. xD See below.

Tools Used: 3ds Max, Vray for rendering.

Very awesome. :D If it weren't for the "Revised" in the title, I would have thought this was a photo! I love the reflections in them. :)

There's still a chance today won't happen.

This looks practically like a photo. Good sense of perspective and depth thanks to the fact that there is more than one bulb in this. Very nice work. You're very talented at 3D rendering. I tried using Maya once and it was very difficult to get used to and the fact that I had o one to ask for help when things went not the way I wanted them to. XD

bottom of the spiral screw like part has a flaw it should not be roundish mushroom cap like it should be a fat cone kinda thing xD and a cynlindrical nub maybe you already know that though

xD I just modeled it after the bulb sitting on my table so it pretty much looks exactly like that (minus that little part at the very very top of the bulb). But yeah, either way I wouldn't have time to fix it. This is only a re-render. I didn't modify the model from the original Light Bulb picture at all. I just repositioned it, duplicated, changed lighting and re-rendered.
